To begin with, i have posted the following question in one of the other AP-threads but did not get much response. So lets beging with clarifying this issue - Gurus please give your 2 cents on this aspect.

This is not 100% relevant to this thread but since we are discussing APs here, I thought I will ask the question.
Do we need AP to go to / come back from US Virgin Islands? I know that these islands are U.S. territories and should be nothing more than going from one U.S. state to another. The reason for my question is that the DOS website states that for travelling to USVI, the U.S. citizens should carry a Photo Id AND Birth Certificate to establish the U.S. citizenship. Many websites state the same thing and some sites mention that this is because of nearby British Virgin Islands. As you can just take a ferry and come from British islands to U.S. Islands, the Immigration authorities on Mainland need to check your immigration status. This is not the case for travel to Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Does anyone know for sure or have personal experience visitng the USVI?

None of the Amitabh Bachans did any thing for slums,Danny Boyle Made a very good movie.I think the fact is Rehman is a prodigy no doubt about that, he makes very good music we all know that.As compared to Hollywood directors Bollywood directors are subpar with the exception of very few good ones. Movie business is controlled in India by few families,what ever the movies they make rest of the people will watch it.I dont want to open the bollywood can of worms.Movie directors in India are usually sons of Bollywood actors or some one related to Bollywood.
I am sure none of the Bollywood directors would ever be able to make good movies,they dont have a global outlook,neither the needed juice. usually Bollywood directors are some low key high school drop outs who have connections with mafia.
If some one who is reallly talented is not going to make it in Bollywood,Southern Film industry is even worse.

msgs like this help establish the notion that this is an indian website dedicated to indian immigration issues. I didnt see any post wishing happy Eid/ Eid Mubarak nor did I notice last year that anyone wished a Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays, nor do we wish our Chinese friends a Happy Chinese New Year.
The people who wants to be a part of American Society should first definately be a very open minded towards all cultures and social trends.
Other thing to be Indian or representing Indian traditions is not a crime but certainly every time barking against anything Indian may certainly be a crime as it is a clear indication of closed door or prejudicial mind towards one particular country and culture. Americans do not mind if one shows that he is Indian now and want to become in American future. Although they prefer that AND that is why they label Jindal as Indian-American although he born in USA. If there are majority Indians on IV board, it is not a crime but it is obvious. Some of my chienese friends on IV board may start thread for wishing chienese festival, I bet most Indians on this board will welcome and same goes with Muslim friends on IV board. I diagree with you...Indian film Industry have very good directors, They are no way inferior to Hollywood. Firstly you can't compre them with Hollywood because they have differen audiances...Hollywood have money power so their movies are technically better, but as far as quality of movies Indian film industry is very good...It caters to all tastes. There are Shyam Benegal, Basu Chaterjee, Govind Nihlani for people who like simple senseful movies there are Karan Johar, Yash Chopra, Mani Ratnam for expensive, hip hop movies. There's RGV, Hirani, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra for different story based movies. This is exactly what I thought when one of my son's friend was working very hard on spelling bee and needless to say he reached the topmost level in that event. As a parent I fail to understand why championing the spelling bee is of such a great importance for a child's all-round growth.
This whole spelling bee thing is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. By any standards, it is pure and simple torture to subject the kids to memorizing thousands of words and their stupid spellings. And what use is that? Have they never heard of something called SPELL-CHECK in Microsoft Word and other email services ?
Or are they afraid that their kid will go to a job interview and someone might ask them to spell the word that no one on the planet ever uses and is only present in the Oxford Dictionary.
Those who subject their kids to such a regimented, rigorous, scripted childhood are preparing a next generation of work-force that would only know how to follow the orders and accept directions.
85 % of the fortune 500 CEOs are not MBAs. And the other 15% that have an MBA, only 3 of the 15 have done MBA from an IVY LEAGUE school.
What that tells you is that too much education and scholarly childhood increases your job security, in that sense that you will never be unemployed, but it decreases the chances that you will be on the top or you will be a billionaire.
The biggest prize goes NOT TO people who can follow directions and know everything, but who can GIVE directions and get things done.

With this rule in effect from july 2nd, what happens to the cases filed before in PP but it is in pending status with an RFE.
I had received RFE on my I-140 on June 1st and replied back on June 6th but there is no update since then from USCIS.

You may have an alternate option without taking the MS...

In the case of H1 it says: "....An accredited United States evaluation company can provide an evaluation whereby three years of progressive work experience are considered equivalent to one year of college education in the event the foreign national has only a three year bachelors degree....".
So, I think it is really worthy to explore whether it is possible to convert 3 years of experience into 1 year equivalent of education.
I do not think, you really need to take an MS to be considered for EB2. Contact Murthy law firm, I think they will definitely be able to handle difficult cases like this.
Or else, you just take a 20 minute appointment with one of their experienced lawyers and they will be able to give you a firm answer. It costs somewhere between $150 and $250 for a 20 mt appointment.
I know, it's going to be a long journey, but a start would definitely help.
