So what about a group of hispanic men that jump a korean man simply for being korean? Both groups are minorities.

Could you provide a little more detail of your situation? Which program(s) create corrupted PDF files? Is it only Firefox? Which version of OS X are you running? SL? 10.6.7? When was the most recent time you were able to create a PDF that was not corrupt? Yesterday? Weeks ago?
I just created a PDF from FF 4.0 on 10.6.7 and it worked just fine. I went to about firefox so I could figure out what version of FF I had and it downloaded and installed an update (4.0.1). I'll "print" again just to test...
You mention Acrobat. That really is not needed on OS X. I used it briefly when a certain prof was sending out indecipherable PDF files but I never allowed it to become any kind of default and I haven't run it in close to a year. BTW, printing to PDF worked for me again on 4.0.1. You should be able to use Preview and Quick View on any PDF you have created on your machine.

There is much to be said for cultural bias, and by "bias" I don't mean anything specifically negative. What I mean is one's culture gives one a certain frame of reference. And having worked for Sony for 5 years, one thing I have learned is not to try and judge things inside of Japan by my own standards, since Japanese frequently don't look at things the way I do.
It's my impression that, for instance, Japanese people don't look for ways of "sticking it to the man" like we do here in the U.S. I don't mean that someone from Japan doesn't know about the concept of "fighting city hall", but that it's handled differently.
I'm not quite sure how to convey the same sentiment in Japanese Apple commercials that we have here, since we have no trouble calling Microsoft "evil" in all the senses of the word, whereas I think in Japanese culture, the priority is more on either helping another save face or at least remaining neutral in such matters (though by all means someone here who's a native or someone who is an expert on Japan and it's culture, correct me if I'm wrong.)
Can someone here please give myself and/or the rest of us some guidance with respect to how far one can go in Japan in speaking of others before they cross some socially unacceptable line? I really don't know, and would like to.

What about denying somebody a job because of their, say, intelligence? Charisma? Any number of things that are largely predetermined?
Ethnicity doesn't say anything other than the color of the persons skin. However, intelligence and stuff are things that actually can affect wether you are qualified or not. Two quite different things, if you ask me.

I think it's brilliant.
The problem is that the ads don't make fun of PCs, they make fun of the people who use PCs as nerdy, boring, stupid types, compared to the people who use Macs as hip, trendy, urban-cool. People put (what they think is) a lot of research into their PC purchases and if someone comes along and tells them they just made the wrong choice in a very snarky, sarcastic way, it can provoke two responses: 1) humiliation, or 2) anger (ego self-defense). Neither of which are good.
These Mac ads, in addition to whatever popularity they've achieved, are stirring up a lot of Mac hatred.
I cannot stand the "Mac guy" myself. He makes me want to switch to a PC.

Everyone has lost interest in doing this kind of thing I guess. Maybe when they removed the screensaver, for good reasons, it wasn't as interesting for some people. Upgrading to new clients can be a hassle.
I think if the stats were more interesting, I would like to have a better way to see how I'm doing against people on other teams.
Kakaostats may go by the wayside, he doesn't have individual stats anymore and the rest of his stats are questionable because of some bug.:(
We need to get more users in the team and have it competitive between us and also track the teams PPD. The stats are really fun and is what makes me want to produce more then I would otherwise do :D

Picked up the Keystation 49e from the apple store the other day. Best midi keyboard for its price/size, atleast that I've seen. Anyway, now that I can carry my Powerbook anywhere I want, Im looking for a way to carry my keyboard. Don't wanna travel with a towel wrapped around my Keystation. Any suggestions?

I am definitelynot a 'power user', but I am a hardcore gamer. And when I see a friend with a year old PC playin Warcraft with less jumpiness then my 6 month old powermac, it makes me want to switch. Power does matter to me, and you cant get much power for the amount of money I have when it comes to computers from apple.

...it worked reliably from my Mac Mini (2010) to my iPad 2 without saying "you are not authorized to play this video" every other time, I would care.
