Even if your visa is expired, if you have valid approval notice, you do not need airport visa. You can refer to the following website: http://www.germany.info/relaunch/info/consular_services/visa/countrylist.html#except4

Hi All,
I am thinking of looking for other job options. I want to know if you any one of you have changed jobs on EAD and your experience with the whole issue.
1. Did you find have any issues when getting 485 approved.
2. Did you file AC21.
3. Does the job responsibility has to meet 100% word by word.
4. Has any one you applied for EAD extension on your own.
5. Has any one got an RFE after changing the Job on EAD and submitting AC21. if so what kind of questions do they ask.

Even though you entered under the VWP, and even though you remained here after your I-94 expired, you can file for AOS based on your marriage to a US Citizen.
Your wife is required to provide an affidavit of support. However, if her income and/or resources combined with your income/resources are insufficient, you can rely on a second affidavit from someone willing to be a "co-sponsor". The co-sponsor must be: a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, over 18 years old, and domiciled in the US.

So i need to file all at the same time the following..
Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status I-485 $1,010 ($930 plus a biometrics fee of $80).
Affidavit of Support I-134 $0
Petition for Alien Relative I-130 $355

Is this everything? so assuming all goes well i would be protected from deportation from the time of filing until decisions are made? and would also be able to get EAD and SS number from that point on?

Hi all,
We applied for my wife's and mine EAD on April 27th (paper based)
I got the receipt notice on 05/08/2010 and checks were cashed on 05/08/2010
I am okay, because I am on H1B, my wife has a business and employs 2 people full time.
She doesn't draw any salary from the business, except she has business on her name and the accounts on her name as well.
Additionally , she has a valid H4 as well.
I know its too early to panic, but if I didnt get her EAd card by July 31st, are we in trouble

After 90 days, if your wife's application is still pending, take an infopass appointment (there is an option in the infopass to mention EAD after 90 days) and they will expedite it. I would suggest making the appointment for the 91st day just in case.

I am on H1B for past 7 months. My employer had difficulty getting job for me I got job(with 3 layers of companies before the client) after my own efforts(with little help from my company) and my employer cornered me to send an email in which i have agreed that i will get paid only if my employer gets the money from the last layer of the company he is contracting with.
Because of that i am getting paid very late after 100 days, as companies pay late. I have got new job and i am taking it up from Jan. Till now my employer has paid only salary till August only. He has run pay stub still Mid of september(though he has not paid for september). And is refusing to give me pay stubs after that. Also he says, as i am quitting he will pay the salary going forward as bonus without pay stubs in next year 2008 as he will not be able to pay it as my salary as i will not be with them as employee after December.
I have proper timesheets that i had submitted with client to prove my work hours with client.
How do i get my pay stubs and my pay?
Can i take legal action against my employer for not paying me on time and not giving me pay stubs. Will the email i sent have any advantage to him?

Most attorneys are of the view that one can use the AP to travel back in to the US even though his/her H1B visa stamping is delayed/denied

USCIS never think of backlog. For them new filings are like subscribing to them and it generates constant revenue for them when people file for EAD, AP etc..

Dear Friends, My sincerest hopes and prayers that EB2-I dates advance my PD is Jul 2007 and we narrowly missed the Jul 07 windfall. I hope our wait for EAD & AP ends this year!

You should apply neither Fiance visa (K1) or Tourist visa (B2) I guess that is the best and fastest way as far as I know.

On April 30, 2009, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our LOS ANGELES, CA location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Though Ron Hira is in anti immigrant side a few points are correct. Companies like TCS,Wipro and Infosys are not processing green cards. Also their pay is much less than the employees who are processing green cards. Even we can compare with Current IV members. I am sure 90% IV members will be getting more than TCS or infosys pay. No one can deny that. Of course TCS,Infosys are paying more than or equal to DOL specified pay but they beat other companies just by cost . Also those companies main aim is to outsource the jobs and that may end up in losing jobs from USA and there is no evidence that outsourcing creates more jobs in USA but quality of products might improve and might have savings in cost. At the same time those who are staying permanently here atleast some chance of creating jobs in USA directly and indirectly. Also his article supports faster green cards for high skilled persons.
As for Ron Hira, the only reason I find him playing with anti-crowd is, he like himself to be identified with some European white skinned immigrants who immigrated to this country much before these "asians/indians" immigrated to US.

Now that dates for EB2 have moved to Jan 2000 PD, it might be interesting to see if we have folks in here with EB2 PD in or before Jan 2000.
lol..this is funny.. are you planning to issue another bulletin from your side based on the input at IV.. chill dude.. the bulletin issue science is really some rocket science, it defies all the fundamentals of mathematics and gravity...actually its more like 6-flag ride..rush of adrenalin..swaying on both sides..oh god its making me so dizzy....
